Karen Angela Shupp

Since childhood, Karen has been captivated by the healing Gifts of Nature provided to all of us by the Creator. Over 60 years later, this quest for learning and understanding continues, along with the desire to share gained knowledge with all who seek it. Karen has degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy, with a medical career spanning 40+ years. She has always blended the functional knowledge of science with ancient wisdom in healing and selfcare. This wisdom begins in our own homes and acknowledging Earth’s abundance as our best teachers of wellness and healing. Karen’s botanical products are sold under the name Silver Squirrel Wellness.
Silver Squirrel Wellness
Owned by Karen Angela Shupp, we provide botanical products and wellness services. The purpose of these products are to introduce nature's gifts within functional healthcare and healing. Educational opportunities to the public are provided for wellness knowledge of the mind, body & spirit connection, which is needed for safe, effective self-care choices. This may include nutrition, wellness consultations, and treatment choices for disease, injuries and life challenges.
The Healing Garden
The Healing Garden is not part of the Silver Squirrel Wellness business, but is located on Karen’s private property. There has been an effort to steadily add medical and edible plants throughout her garden areas, which are being expanded throughout the property. The healing aspect of this garden is not related to simply physical wellbeing, but mental and spiritual as well.
With varied settings being cultivated, Karen is providing sites for meditation, prayer, classes and retreats in Wellness Education. This is to be open to the community for self-guided tours of botanicals, combined with quiet sanctuaries within nature.
